Minnie Mouse is a cartoon character created by The Walt Disney Company in 1928. She is an anthropomorphic mouse with a white bow and polka-dotted dress, occasionally wearing low-heeled shoes with ribbons. Mickey Mouse comic strip writers Merrill De Maris and Floyd Gottfredson originally called her Minerva Mouse in their story "The Gleam" (published January 19 - May 2, 1942).

The others are: Patrick the starfish, who lives under a rock; a surly octopus named Squidward; Mr. Krabs, a stingy crab restaurateur; a whale named Pearl who is somehow the crab's daughter; a Texan squirrel in scuba gear, named Sandy; Among the characters in SpongeBob: Mrs. Puff the pufferfish, bad-tempered Plankton the plankton, Karen Plankton's computer, and Gary the sea snail, who meows like a house cat.
