About antelope

Bovidae also includes cattle, sheep, goats, deer, and giraffes from the Old World. The pronghorn of North America is generally referred to as an antelope, despite its true identity being an ungulate.

It has been estimated that there are 91 known species of bovids, most of which are native to Africa. However, no consensus has yet been reached regarding whether Bovidae are divided into tribes and subfamilies.

Dikiki-diks will usually keep to small herds of two to four females and one male because they have such large territories to cover. Other species of mammals will form very small herds of two to four females and one male in large forests.

These large antelopes form large herds of females and breed alone, often by aggressively excluding males.
